The MacDonnell Ranges  are located in the Northern Territory, and are a 644 km (400 mi) long series of mountain ranges located in the centre of Australia, and consist of parallel ridges running to the east and west of Alice Springs. The mountain range contains many spectacular gaps and gorges as well as areas of aboriginal significance.

The MacDonnell Ranges were often depicted in the paintings of Albert Namatjira

My name is Gaye White and I have the luxury of time in my life at the moment to paint.  The goal I have set myself is to produce paintings to remind people of the wonders of the natural world, and by so doing hopefully there may be less inclination to destroy it.

Prints of these paintings are available through Fine Art America or Fine Art Australia
