My Grandfather made some beautiful furniture and I wanted to capture the beauty of his lyre-bird table in a painting. I added his clock which is now my responsibility to keep working for the next generation. In addition I included a lovely bunch of flowers my friend gave me and Aunty Laura's doily. The painting is now hanging above the table.
